The last time I went to Mecca, the place still looked like a place of spirituality. If I ever get to go again, I don’t know how I will deal with new look. Every time I will turn the corner while doing tawaaf I will see that ugly clock/mall/hotel towering over the Ka’ba. But then again, as distracting as I assume it will be, it would be pretty weak of me if I fail to have my eyes locked on the beauty of the Ka’ba and not be focused on my tawaaf.
