TMNT Stop Motion Intro (1987)

“With over 4,000 individual pictures, Kyle Roberts and crew wanted to recreate the nostalgic 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon introduction in stop motion. Artist, Nathan Poppe, created over 60 hand-drawn images to establish a bright and vibrant backdrop to complement Roberts’ use of action figures. The original TMNT theme song was covered by Oklahoma native band, The Boom Bang, in their “garage surf punk” style. Each of these pieces can stand alone by themselves, but when infused together they create a radical tribute”

CHILDHOOD TOYS New entries I’m going to be posting on my blog..toys and games I grew up on (yes, “Thursday’s Treasure from the Past” and “Childhood Toys”..I’m a very nostalgic person) First entry for this section…Turtle Comm In the future, I probably won’t be doing this weekly like “Thursday’s Treasure from the Past” since I probably can’t find every toy on Google or even remember all the one’s I had (I had A LOT). So it should be a nice surprise of a post every now and then. Although I think since this is a new series of entries I plan on posting, It’s probably smart to post a few more in the coming week before I ease it up.
